About The Author:

Dr. Bill Bledsoe has over twenty-two years of veterinary medical experience. He graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary medicine in 1982.  He is trained in research, diseases, drug therapy, surgery and medicine.  He is a member of the North American Association for the Study of Obesity.  He has written for the local newspaper and writes a local monthly article. He has published in numerous national professional journals.

His research and journey to learn to control his obesity took almost seven years and writing two other books before finally writing this book.


His most important credential is that he lost 130 pounds and kept it off over two years. He was able to do this without drugs, surgery, intense willpower or struggling with hunger or cravings. He did this by developing a style of eating called Proactive Eating.  Proactive eating prevents all hunger and cravings, making weight loss safe, easy, effective and permanent.
